This piece tells the story of my journey as an immigrant to Canada. I arrived in 2019 and now live in Port Coquitlam with my husband, where I’ve found a sense of home surrounded by some of the best sunsets, mountains and trails. When I think of my time in Canada, I not only think of the magnificent nature, but how it has helped shape me.

A rose is still a rose

Inspired by "A Rose is still a Rose" by Aretha Franklin, this piece was made during a tumultuous time where I was trying to find who I was after a relationship breakdown during COVID. This song got me through a lot. My mum also calls me "babygirl" so it had many meanings to me. It currently hangs in a place of a very good friend of mine.

Deep Sea Space

My very first commission was requested by a friend from Ireland. She remarked that she saw my previous paintings with Octopi and wanted one for herself. She said "make it as weird as possible" and I did. Green goo coming from a planet, an octopus wrapped around the rings and a deep sea diver somehow attached to a whale - and all of this in space? Indeed, it is weird!
