Kia ora! I am Tess, a multidisciplinary artist from Aotearoa New Zealand, now living in Vancouver, Canada. In my professional career, I began as a graphic designer and have since moved into more creative work.
Art has always been part of my life. As a kid, I was always drawing and painting - I even tried knitting and paper mache for a while.
Over time, my curiosity with art has grown into a practice rooted in storytelling, wairua (spirit), and whakapapa (lineage), reflecting both my personal journey and my heritage.

Art Classes
Held primarily in the summertime sunshine, these classes teach you how to create using pastel, acrylic paint, alcohol ink or textured plaster so you can find your own unique style. Whether you’re a curious beginner or a seasoned artist, each of my classes are about meditation, getting messy, having fun, and letting your creativity bloom.
